Elephants can be found everywhere in the city of Hamm
(Germany) - one of them is placed on the area of Ost colliery, as well. The
processing plant of the former Maximilian colliery in Hamm was rebuilt to a very large
elephant made of glass. That is the reason why this animal became a certain
symbol for the city of Hamm in Germany.
