This mock-up that is situated close to the pit bank was used for explaining the design of an ordinary roadway underground to the pupils. In this
photo you can see the metal parts that prevent the roadways from
collapsing very well. In addition to that there are the strong pipes that are used for
transporting various materials like methane gas, water or different chemicals.
