Here we can see the training equipment's second
part. In this electric ladder the rungs are gliding in a circuit through the
machine and the members of the brigade have to pass a long way "upstairs", again
with all the equipment needed during an underground emergency. This is used to
train for an emergency in the shaft, when the men have to climb several hundred
metres of ladders in order to get to an injured or unconscious person.
