The control of the security chips !

For some of you this may sound strange, so I am going to explain it.

Each miner has a small box with a chip inside at his belt. This chip can be "seen" by other machines. If a miner uses one of the conveyors to move from one place to the other and gets unconscious during that, he is in danger of falling into the next bunker where the conveyor finishes. In the places where the permission to use the conveyors for moving ends, there are corresponding sensors. If one of the chips mentioned before passes one of those sensors, the conveyor stops automatically and the miner is out of danger. These chips are also used in order to find people missing or buried.

To make sure that the chip is really working, the miners pass one of the these gratings with an integrated sensor. If one of the small lamps in the picture turns from red to green, the chip is working, otherwise the miner will have to change his belt for the sake of his own safety.
