A wheel from the tower !

This picture shows one of the wheels that were fixed on the tower in order to lead the ropes down the shaft. It is lying between two large pit cages that were used to transport the coal to the surface with. I think most of you know what we can see there, so I will not explain too much here ;-).

It is important to mention that this wheel is not waste, it will be brought to DSK's (the German hard coal mining company) central workshop and there it will get prepared for further use.
