This picture shows us a train arriving at
Castrop-Rauxel station (Germany) in the early 1950s. I wished more of these old,
chugging trains had survived until today so that future generations will
be able to enjoy this view. Most of them cannot reach the speed of today's
trains, but for excursions they are wonderful.
