Entrance to the coal seam called "Sonnenschein" !

The picture shows the entrance to a mining area in the seam called "Sonnenschein" (in English: "sunshine") in the Victor colliery in Castrop-Rauxel (Germany) in a depth of -994 metres. The light in the background of the photo shows us the place where the waggons have been loaded with the raw coal.

The picture was taken by Hans H. Mueller who would like to receive messages from other miners from the former Victor/Ickern colliery in Castrop. Please be so kind to address Hans Mueller.
