The Ost colliery at the open day !

This picture shows us shaft Robert's tower in the afternoon of the 13.05.2001. That was the open day at this colliery. If you take a closer look you can see the ropes leading up to the wheels on top of shaft Heinrich's shaft tower in front of the dark background on the right side of the picture.

There has been a lot of entertainment for all visitors, the visitors have been provided with lots of information about the colliery and that made the time pass very fast. The reason for the celebration was that the first shaft of this colliery was sunk 100 years ago.
