A shaft tower "German style" !

This is shaft 3 of Minister Achenbach colliery. This shaft was situated in Luenen-Brambauer (Germany) and it was used for supplying the roadways underground with fresh air.

I received these photos from Wolfgang Schubert, many thanks to him. Wolfgang has been working at the Minister Achenbach colliery in Luenen (Germany) for a long time and when the colliery closed, he lost the contact to his colleagues.
