The onset at the third level !

This photo taken underground shows us the onset of the Westerholt shaft at the third level. Behind the grilles visible in the photo you can see parts of the bars leading down the shaft in order to keep the pit cages stable during the process of hoisting. On the right there is the signal board with a lot of switches.
