This is the northern shaft of the Anthrazit Ibbenbueren
colliery in Ibbenbueren (Germany). In the foreground you can see the miners'
cars that have to be brought underground through this shaft. The shaft is 1545
metres deep and it is used for the hoisting of miners and material.
