During the process of filling up of the tunnel the supply
with fresh air was made sure by using the fan and the pipe that is led into the
tunnel. On the right at the container there is the board to which the miners have
attached a piece of metal when entering the tunnel so that it could be
seen very easily who was underground at a certain point of time.
