Lerche shaft is also used for bringing underground the different materials. In
order to bring these materials to the longwall mining areas or the places where
new roadways are built, suspension railways are loaded with them here. These
suspension railways are hung up under the roadway's ceiling and the white engine
in the middle of the photo belongs to one of them.
