In this picture you can see the tower of Franz
shaft a bit better and closer. In the foreground you can see the slagheap of the
former Humbert shaft - one of the first slagheaps built after the colliery
opened in the first years of the 20th century. The name "Humbert"
results from
the Humbert shaft - nearly invisible on that foggy day.
