Lerche shaft with the 400-tons-crane !

This photo shows you the recently deeper sunk Lerche shaft with the machines' house on the right and the ropes leading up the tower. On the left you can see the 400-tons-crane. This crane has to let down the pipes for the future supply with cooling water into the shaft that has a depth of 1350 metres.

The crane's enourmous dimensions can be seen better on other photos, but at this point one interesting fact: 36 (!) trucks are needed to transport this crane !
