The pit bank !

This is Heinrich shaft's pit bank. Behind the gratings there is the shaft leading down to a depth of about 1200 metres. The two gates in the background are used to get to the sixth level at -970 metres, the ones in the foreground to get down to the seventh level at -1120 metres.

Behind the second grating from the right side you can see the outside of a pit cage waiting to be loaded and sent down again.
