On the area of Grimberg 2 shaft - a large collection of photos of
that shaft can be found at Pro-Bergbau - there is a Protego cap. These caps are
used for controlling the amount of methane gas pouring out of the former shaft
in order to avoid firedamp explosions even after that it is filled up.
