The ropes !

At the four ropes in the front the large pit cage is hanging at the onset in a depth of 1350 metres, in the background the other pit cage can be seen.

The small "roofs" on the cage in the background are used during maintenance in the shaft: Miners can stand on the platforms under these roofs and by that they are protected against being hit by something falling down the shaft.
