Here you can see a small part of the footpath on the slagheap of Prosper-Haniel
colliery in the city of Bottrop (Germany). All mining related machines etc. are
explained on wooden panels, two of which can be seen in this photo. On the
panels there are also the stations of the cross, that lead the visitors up the
slagheap until to the peak. It does
not happen very frequently that the slagheap is covered with snow so that these photos
are very valuable.
