These two miners are working in a longwall mining area as it was
common several years ago. They are fixing the shields that have to prevent the
overburden from falling down to avoid insuries or even casualties among the
miners. On the right you can see one of the two chains that have to move the
metal bars in order to bring the coal out of the mining area.
