In the foreground you can see the railway area of Anna 2 colliery in the city of
Alsdorf near Aachen in Germany, where hard coal has been produced, as well. The
two oval towers are the bunkers for the coal of the colliery's new cokery, on
the left you can find some of the buildings of the colliery's old cokery. Today
on Anna 2 colliery's area there is a mining museum that can be found on the web
at
www.bergbaumuseum-grube-anna2.de.
