In this picture another method of underground 
transportation can be seen: It is special, because it does not need rails on the 
floor. If you translate the German term for it, it is called "one rail hanging 
train". The system is comparable to the one of the famous suspension railway in 
Wuppertal (Germany): It is hanging at a rail. This has the advantage that - also 
because of the mono-rail's high payload - even heavy load can be transported in 
roadways that cannot be reached by train. 
For example, because of this it is possible to 
bring the very heavy shield supports to the longwall mining areas, even if the 
gateroads are too rough to use usual trains.
